5 - 10 year rewind
Perfect day
Take some time to get away where you will not be distracted to journal through the following exercises and answer the questions we have provided below. Be in a quiet place. Preferably outside of your normal environment. Look into visiting a beach or park. Nature is great for reflection.

- What was your mindset?
- Where do you live?
- The goal is not to feel bad about your current situation, rather, reflect on where you are as if you are taking a zoomed out view of your own life.
For this exercise, sit down and reflect on where you were either 5 years ago (if you are younger than 30 years old) or 10 years ago (if you are older than 30). Get as detailed as possible to really put yourself back into your old lifestyle and mindset. Here are a few questions to help promote your reflections.

- Where were you living?
- What were you doing?
- What people were in your life?
- What was your life like?
- What was your education level?
- How much money were you making?
- What was your mindset like?
- Who were your friends?
- What were you doing for work?
- What were your goals?
- What did you do for fun?
The goal with this exercise is to see how far you've come in the last 5-10 years. This will help you be creative in figuring out where you would like to go in the coming exercises!
For this exercise we want you to imagine what a perfect day would look like if everything worked out exactly as you had hoped. Let’s focus more on a perfect work day as that is a critical part of life. Get creative and be UNREASONABLE. Focus on what you would want life to be like without worrying if it’ s possible. Describe your perfect day and what it would look like. Make sure to write this out as if you are the main character in your movie. Be as specific as possible in your answers. You can use the questions below as a rough outline to help spark creativity.
